I'm getting faster :)
I went back to the track last night. My best time before was a 7.69 @ 107 in the 1/8, which was the first time I had ever raced the 14. Last night I got down to a 7.27 @ 108.98 mph. My problem is getting took off. My 60ft on that run was a 2.07, which is terrible. I also need to work on riding the clutch out. If I can get better in those two areas, I'll be in the 6's no problem. I'm getting used to the beast, now comes perfecting my launches. There was a lady at the track taking pictures of everybody for the dragstrips website. She got a few of me during my burnouts. If she puts some up, I'll try to post them on here.

its a whole new ball game at the track. the extra traction makes launching challenging to say the least. unless it is real cold i do not even do a burn out with the stock tire. i ran a 7.0 the first time(1.85 60) out and got quicker with more seat time. practice and you will be flying in no time. just watch some smokin video.....

blackbullet76 Just keep going to the track as much as possible ..Trust me you will get better everytime you go .....Don't get crazy trying to go fast ...let it come slow and easy and it will come .. It all about getting a feeling for the bike and what the bike wants from you ....Kinda like golf , if you try to hard your game turns to shit....  Smokin..

Yeah, I'm getting more and more used to it. I still can't believe it hasn't tried to come up with me yet. I was racing my friend on his 05 R1 last night and he couldn't keep the front wheel down. I looked over once right before the finish line and he was in a serious power wheelie, we were side by side.

Thats why I always walk the literbikes... they're too wheelie prone.
My buddies GSXR comes up in every gear till 5th, I just honk on it and pull away.

This is the only one the lady put up on the website. I'm in the left lane and my friend on the R1 is in the right. You can see from the pick that his 60ft is better than mine. I think this is one where I really fell asleep off the line. He's got a good lead on me.
