Dyna shift minder and muzzy air shifter ??

As most of you guys and gals know i have a Muzzy c02 air shifter and i just picked up a Dyna shift minder with shift light from one of the zx14 members.... The shift minder has a 12 volt RPM output that can be used to trigger the air shifter ..The Muzzy air shifter has a digakill box that kills the fuel as well as adj kill time and delay time....My question is what wire would i use from the Digakill to make it an auto shift .....Anyone done this set up before?? Can it be done with a diga kill box ? Thanks Smokin..

use the wire that flashes the shiftlite to trigger the wire going out of the push button that activates the shifter.
you might have to invert a positive pulse to negitive or vise versa.use an relay.
what ever rpm the shiftlite flashes it will auto shift

If all else fails...
Hook it to the power wire on your shift light, when light goes on, bike should shift!

I agree. Your going to have to fire both the solenoid and the DigiKill, which one of the wires on the long Muzzys harness already does when the horn button is pressed. If you can isolate the wire that becomes hot when the horn button is pressed, you should be able to fire that with the shift light lead.

I read in another of his posts that he became concerned that if he spun the tach relay may cause him to bang through the gears all at once and mess up his tranny. I've been thinking about it, however, and Muzzy puts in protection for "button bounce", which should prevent this.

Adams Performance goes about it a little differently. I think they have an autoshift unit that has a time delay in addition to the RPM window.

I'm wondering if the PCIII hub relay might be the way to go. Couldn't you use gear position and RPM in order to limit relay firing more than once per gear.

Lee, you can call me if I need to explain better. With the relay I'm grounding the green wire at the left handle bar. If the shift minder is putting out 12v it should work fine. I previously tried to trigger it at the horn switch with no results. 337-654-1663

Man this is old stuff all the way back to my 06 zx14 ... I never did get the shift light to work as an auto shift , not sure i ever even tried to hook it up that way .. The shift light never did help me because i never could see it no matter where i put it ..
What i'm ising now is MPS auto shift box set at 11k ... It works great and no need for a shift light that i can't see anyway .. hope that helps ...
