Amsoil 10-40 4.2 quarts on level ground holding bike up right. Not Drag Racing at track yet. Mountain curves and long hiway miles. Change about every 2500 miles or so. Use a OEM filter. Still in warranty so I keep orginal filters installed. You never know what a Dealer might say if you had a engine problem..

I run Mobil 10w30 or 10w40 usually, but hottest months I sometimes swap out and go with 15w40.......but I always run Mobil. Stuck with what the bike was broken in with.
