quarter mile rear sproket
need rear sproket for quarter mile what size should i get, not changing the front. thanks fellas in advance

To get the same final drive ratio as the 16/41 which a lot of people use for quarters you'll need a 43 or 44 tooth chainwheel. That will most likely require a longer chain too, it's starting to get expensive now so it might be worth reconsidering changing that gearbox sprocket after all.

what do you guys think about a 16/43 ratio because i already have a 43 tooth sproket on the rear and i want just a little more.

I have that setup, though I don't race the 14 -- and it's insane. Only issue now, is keeping the front end down...top speed is limited now to 167, which is fine for me anyway, but this thing runs through the gears faster than you can possibly imagine.

Think again, I'm slammed and 11" over with 16-43 gearing, and can still lift the front on occasion.
6" over will lift easily.

Have you run the bike on the 1/4 mile yet? Do you have any drag racing experience? If not, run the bike as is for a while until you get some seat time.
