Gen3 Exhaust question...
I'm guessing its too late to call Brocks...maybe someone can help me out on this question. I'd like to trade out my Gen3 Carbon can for a SMEG. Is it possible to just swap someone for their midpipe & SMEG for my midpipe and can? I know Brock sells a conversion, but I'm really not interested in trying to sell my carbon can for a loss and come up with 4 bills for the conversion.
thanks

I just installed a SMEG today, and was thinking I would like to have a Gen 3 polished can to swap out with. The SMEG is awesome, was running a set of D&Ds, and the increase in power was instantly evident. I am running an early no flies map, but will be installing a new one tomorrow. Anyhoo the MEG is loud and deep with the baffle in, havent tried with it out yet. I might like to tone it down every now and then, may try slipping on one of the D&Ds and see how it sounds. Anyway I would think if you had both it would be awesome...TB

Smokey, I agree with you...everyone seems to love them. BUT, I'm hoping...
So other than finding someone, the two should swap out perfectly with no modification?
If they swap, I'll trade someone even, if not, I'll start saving my money after i get my nos and airshifter and swingarm...and damnit.

I love it too, but I plan on spraying and don't want to risk destroying the can.

I have both and it's the perfect setup. The cans change in just five minutes. S-meg for racing and Gen 3 for twisties and day to day riding around home. If you can afford the extra $400 it's the way to go especially if you might be having hearing problems and do a lot of riding. After 1,600 hours in small planes my hearing is not the best.

I think the 2 into1 mid pipe is different... not sure though.
List your trade offer on bikeland classifieds?

Hey Flyboy... do you have to run different maps depending on which can you have on the end (Gen 3 vs Smeg) ?

FWIW
Called Brock's today. The Gen3 and the SMEG are identical from the collector to the headers...So, if someone wanted to trade, it would be the midpipe/can for the elbow/SMEG.
I'll post up in the buy/sell to see if anyone is interested.

Does the SMEG come with the baffle or will I have to buy one?
