A whole new world.
Took my 14 to get serviced at the local dealer today. Servicing the bike, I asked if they charged extra to adjust the suspension from the factory settings to fit someone my size.
Well, they did. . and. . . . . . . . DAMN!!!
The bike is so responsive in the curves. Control under acceleration is unbelievable.
I had no words to say but. . . . . . .DAMN!!!!
I was doubting my choice of motorcycle since I bought it. But now It's a whole new experience for the GHOSTMAN.
DAMN!!!!!

Did they give you a list of what changes they made? If not, can you investigate or ask them and give us some tips? I've already made a few changes to mine, but I'd love to see what someone else has done in comparison. I'm big too (but not 390!) .

Pretty standard stuff really. You don't need Ohlins on the front or rear to make a difference - I have Ohlins front and rear on my R1 and White Power on my race bike. Given your weight the front and rear springs will be simply too soft - no question. You can play with adjustments but that will only help some. First thing is to get the spring rate right for your weight and then consider revalving the front forks and rear shock. Call the guys and www.gpsuspension.com and talk to Dave or Ben and they will set you straight.
