Throttle Adjustment

Throttle has a little more play in it than I like. If I'm not careful with hand position, it gets a little snappy.

I DON"T have a manual.

Any instructions and tips for adjustments would be appreciated.

Thanks.

follow the throttle cable a short way down toward the area of the triple-clamp, you should notice the linked housing assembly around the cable in that area (sorry for my cryptic description of things, dunno exactly what it's called), you can play with loosening and tightening the cable tension on the open/close throttle cables here and fine tune the amount of slack you feel at the grip, be conservative, you should have a small bit of slack.

it's easy, turn the thumbscrew to loosen, the turn the second to loosen/tighten the cable slack, when you fine tune your sweet spot, turn that thumbscrew to tighten and keep everything locked the way you want.

I'm sure someone else will chime in with a clearer description that I have given, hopefully you can look at your bike and see what I mean.
