Aluminum clutch plates to replace the steels. Takes a couple lbs of rotating mass off your engine.

Yes, aggressive clutch slippage will burn them, and will also wear out faster.
the soft aluminum scrubbs off quicker and contaminates oil quicker too.
We run em almost exclusively in the motocross industry.
OK for 2 strokes, as the engine lubrication is not effected.
I ran steels on the four strokes, to prevent contamination of the engine oil.
The dirt bikes have little oil to circulate. 1-1.5 litres for 450cc!
