Another leaky head cover

While I had the fairing off for exhaust install, I noticed I too have an oil leak to the front of the head cover. It seems like a common occurence.

On mine they had to replace the valve cover, All gasket's and used new shoulder bolts.

ya, the second time in for mine the difference was they put new bolts. that was the solution

mine never leaked... but now at 17k miles and starting to get a nasty vibration off motor.... can pull clutch in and it stops while coasting down road.... i just haven't pin pointed it yet.....

lemmee know the fix. I haven't had that happen but I'm up there in mileage now too and doubt I'm selling this bike as I had planned to after a year

Mine had a little leak, but I found that theleft front bolt on the valve cover was not torqued down. Hasn't leaked since. I think the valve cover bolts are too long on some and bottom out. A washer under the bolt head and re torque may be all you need to fix it.

Mine seeps at the valve cover just before oil change time.
It stops after i change the oil ... Strange but i can live with it untill i reach my 1st valve clearance check interval.
