i own multiple bikes...not just kawi....bmw, duci etc...i like both mounts and they are fit for the job.. i love the simple adjustment. i like the fact it fits in that really ugly open hole.. i like them both for different reasons.

FBA, could ya PM me when you get a chance? I'd like to order a RAM for my lowly Quest (can't afford a Zumo) so I can mount it on my 10R.
Also, will the base plate of the Quest "marine" bracket (removing the adjustable parts) mount directly to the RAM? I had planned on fabricating something myself and preferred the more basic marine mount since it just has a power connection (no hook up for an earpiece) and has a "locking tab" to hold the GPS in place while riding ("boating"?).
Thanx.
BTW - yeah... blow-fish was gettin' "puffy".

sherm.... while you're at it, how 'bout I send you a techmount for your 10R as I won't be needing mine anymore (no more 10R) ... then you can compare the two for yourself.
