zx14 engine cuts off

I recently installed a muzzy air shifter, PC, Sidewinder, digikill and speedo heeler is on the way. I rode the bike 50 miles and the engine cuts out and will not restart. sounds like no fuel. I have to trailer the bike home and carefully go through the wiring but I don't see anything wrong. I reassemble the bike and it starts up.

Next day I bring it to the track. Off the trailer and it starts right up. Put on my leathers and it stalls (ran 3 minutes?). I spend about an hour going through everything and finally disconnect the PC and plug in the stock harness and it run fine since.

Any suggestions?

That is the #1 reported cause. I extended the PC III ground so it would
reach the negitive on the battery - no problems !

I was a victim of that too Lee. Even though I grounded between the rad water bottle and the metal, ground went iffy and it was iffy whether the bike would run or not.

The ground can sink into the plastic rad bottle with time and heat - loosing contact..........I put it under the 8mm bolt just below there.

the best ground is where the battery grounds. remove the battery cover, its the 8mm bolt to the right w/ 2 wires ringed on it. solid ground!
