I had a BMW K1200S. On the K1200S.COM forum, you could see thar 23% has had transmission break down..I had just bought a ZZR1400, and i hope its more reliable!

I have a couple of issues that need to be confirmed as all clear, but no breakdown yet.

Mine was crate damaged. Kawi fixed under waranty.
I have rode the shit out of it, never had a problem.
Break in period? What break in period?
I did the motoman method.....

I had a big problem with mine...damn flies were causing the bike to perform like shit under 6k...till I took 'em out.  I'm with Dub...break in period? WTF's that?

10,000+ miles...nothing but gas, oil and tires....starting to remind me of my 98 blackbird which I wrecked at 80,000+ ...I salvaged the trunk from that wreck and it now sits on my 14...hope it brings me luck!!!
