All Ebayers and those in SAcramento...Beware!
Watch out for this fucker up in the Sacramento area. He's supposedly opening a shop up there. He charged me $35 for shipping and I find out it was actually $7.84. I knew his shipping was full of shit and called beforehand, but took him for his word when he said that's what the post office told him. I still tried to work with him to get a refund, but he wouldn't answer my calls or return my emails until I threatened filing a dispute with PayPal. Gave him one last chance and he said he'd get it done last weekend. Weekend is long gone. Fuck him. I'm letting everyone know to watch out for this clown. Remember this name. He's out to fuck you from the start.

Thats the way it goes on ebay -
If you end up with a product you like for a price you're happy with then all is well.
Doesn't really matter to me if it is $50 for the item and $50 for postage or $90 for the item and $10 for the postage. As long as I'm happy to pay $100 for the product and get it in the condition I bought it for then all is good.
Was the product won on a "Buy Now" or in a bid?
By putting the value of the product cheaper and the postage higher the seller gets charged less by Ebay and can often pass some savings onto the seller.
Only thing that you really need to watch is if the product is defective or if you demand a refund - Ebay will only recognise the price of the product and postage is a lost issue (lots of expensive things have sold for $1 plus $100 postage, only to be a piece of crap. The seller is always more than happy to do a full refund - of the $1.00 it was actually bought for)
If the product is what you were after and postage was negotiated before you bid/paid then it was probably Ebay he was trying to rip off - not you.

Yep that is the way of Ebay... I hate to say it but that is what Shipping and Handeling is...
99% of the people will tell you go and Screw off. or so if you dont want to pay shipping Dont buy it...
I have given some refunds on shipping, BUT I always try and work everything out to be fair... I would have only charged you an extra 5-6 bucks for the box and gas to the PO, along with packing material... but that is me anyway...
sorry you got ripped from him....

It was a bid, not buy it now. Long story, but I contacted him beforehand and asked about shipping. He said the post office computed that it would be $35. I told him I thought it was high. He said he was new to the whole selling on Ebay thing and wasn't out to screw anyone. I get the box and see the label was $7.84. I knew that shit was going to happen. The extra $27.16 doesn't account for handling. He's not a company that has people packaging the shit up and can charge for Handling. If the shipping was close, I wouldn't care. But I was proactive in trying to figure out actual shipping costs at the beginning before the purchase and still got burned by this piece of shit. If anyone justifies what he's doing, then those guys are probably out fucking people too and deserve what karma is going to dish out to this shitbag.

Note shipping legally includes "shipping and HANDLING".
A lot of ebayers make profit from handling charges. Right or wrong, its a reality somone has to come up with shipping packaging and pack the stuff.
fackin' theives hehe
