Sounds like you had a great day.
That turbo sure is getting the job done.
I look to hearing what times you achieve in two weeks.

Funny thing was, Bob kept telling me to look at the boost gauge when I was making a run, so we could tell what the boost level was. Well, when your running a sub-9 second pass, you barely have enough time to look where your going, then back at the tach, and oh, there another shift. I did manage to glance at it once, or twice, to see what the boost was, but believe me, if you've never been into the 8's, at 160+ no less, you've got your hands full just keeping the bike straight down the track. You can't steer, and leaning the bike over isn't a good idea. You just have to make small movements leaning off the bike slightly, or with your feet still dangling, slide your butt and move your foot a little for the corrections. It happens really really fast.
And once I get to about 100' down the track, you can't just pull in the clutch, or slip it, its already locked up, so your in for a ride, unless you roll off the throttle.

On the clutch, I think I hurt something in the actuator when I was running the bike on the dyno. My first pass on the dyno was 300 hp at about 180 mph, and at the end I tried to pull in the clutch lever. The lever came in, but of course the clutch was locked up due to the multistage lockup. After that, the clutch was spongy, and would engage about 1 inch off the bar. Gonna pull off the hydraulic ram on the left side and see if I bent the little rod in there.

Yep I bet you might have damaged something pulling in the lockup at full RPM... let us know what you end up finding... and looks like a flat ass blast!!!
good luck with the rest of the season!

Rod wasn't bent. No damage to the hydraulic unit on the left side of the bike. Gonna just try and bleed down the whole system and see what happens. It works, but I don't have the lever throw I'd like.

Just a thought, a busa will bust the sprocket cover with just heavy springs, check that cover didn't get bent or something. also I'm sure you checked but no air in the line?

Put a brand new shinko ultra soft on today. Waiting on a 43 tooth sprocket. Put in a new clutch, and changed the oil. Now running Castrol full synthetic 5w/50.
Oh, and I'm giving the bike a good cleaning and waxing.
Should be back out at the track April 14th. We have a guy on vacation, so my work schedule is extremely busy right now. Will get better in April when he comes back.

BTW Flyboy, was reading your sig, I love the T210, nice plane. The owner of Sacramento Raceway has one, and lands and takes off at the drag strip duing the week. What else do you fly?
