The size of the engine and emissions requirements dictate that you choose between one very large and ugly catalyzed exhaust canister or two more normal sized ones.

There is no perfect pipe. It is a give and take situation. You can improve up top or you can improve down low but no pipe is gonna do both.

The solution around here seems to be pull the sec flys for the torque down low and run a 4 into 1 pipe for added power on top. Sprocket changes are optional.

gotta say for my tastes the twin carbon-fiber oval muzzy slip-ons look badass, Many guys here seem to have single pipe preferences and I believe that all the full system exhausts available for the 14 are single pipe, if you like single pipe now you have to choose between standard silencer or megaphone. Personally, I'm like you, I have a very hard time deciding which one I like best, I think they all look pretty dope but I think I'm going to take a leap of faith into unexplored territory for myself with the megaphone,

Dual cans look and sound great on the '14. It's a big bike, big bikes have big cans... little bikes have single small cans.

It's hard to beat a nice set of cans, IMHO.

Compare the weight of the standard exhaust to a decent 4 into 1 and you have the answer.

I saved 40lbs in weight and gained 20bhp. The bike runs cooler and sounds good too.
