People that go that fast don't time it. Do you think a driver is going to have a stopwatch in his hand while going that fast? You can bet there won't be anyone else around to time him. No...you're going to have to use your imagination-- And yes we are awake protecting you Aussies from MTV, bad tequila and commie terrorists.

The question should be how long does it take "YOU" to stop!!!! from 300kph.....I'm by my self at that speed anyway....".the view from the front always changes"

If I remember Brent's times correctly at maxton he was hitting 198mph in 24 sec or so, which is about 320kph. So I'd say 20 sec for 300kph. Maybe I got the 24 sec from somewhere else, but if you averaged 180mph(291kph) for a mile, that would be 20 sec, so I think I'm fairly close.

From what I remember reading -- about 15-17 seconds on a piped Busa or 14. If the racers around here are doing high 8's in the 1/4; those numbers make sense to me.

I counted to approx 15 when mine bounced the speed limiter... stock
Then 13sec approx with brocks pipe, map and lowered suspension.
