new clutches slipping????

ok im no expert but i have done this many times i changed my clutches rode the bike all was fine then out of no where clutches start slipping?????

what you fellas think it is??? im going to open up and make sure all is fine. but want any suggestion some may have.

I hope this does not sound bad, but... did you check the adjustment on the clutch...

ITS HYDRAULIC IT SHOULDNT NEED ADJUSTMENT, RIGHT??? IM NEW TO THE HYDRAULIC CLUTCH THING

same happen to me the first time i changed mine. mined slipped in the upper rpm. i tooke everything back out and made sure all the steels were facing the same way i also had made sure that i had soaked the clutches before hand in oil. i dont know if this willhelp but a few of my steels were tuned opposite the other and that fixed my problem. i am not sure if it will help you but i hope it does

I could be wrong, but isnt there an adjuster down in the clutch cover?

Mike you are right but there is no adjusting needed big guy. Like hot rod say the clucth on the 14 does not need adjusting. Are you still playing with that zx12 clutch. I am i changed the clutches in my 12 last week its twice as bad as the 14 the 14 chnage is so smoothed

as soon as i get home im going to take everything out and put everything back in 1 by 1 again....

sometimes the easiest things give u the most darn problems....

same thing happened to me, took all clutches out, and resoaked them in oil for 1/2 hour and has worked fine since.

well looks like i had 2 steel in the wrond way than the others, turned them around re did everything and no problem oh well easy fix.... thanx
