Who is our zx14 exhaust guru ??

As I posted last week I'm 99.9% sure I'm going to take the deal and trade my '05 ZX12R off for a ZX14 (blue) when our weather finally breaks...

Now for my question, the only thing I don't like on the 14 is the "dual" exhaust as I like to call them !! Can somebody save me the time of searching every exhaust maker out there and tell me what company's make a "single" side exhaust for the 14 ??

Pic's of your setup's and your overall thoughts would be awesome.....Thanks, Mike..

Most people on here would probably tell you to get the Brocks system (made by Hindle). I reckon they have different styles to choose from. I myself like the dual cans, but the single can offers more power, so I read.

Single can in carbon fiber would be pretty cool....I've seen pic's of that setup posted here before..

I've got a Akra in carbon on the 12 and love it...Gonna miss that bike, but hopefully a 14 will make me forget about it !!

there are a few "gurus" on this site...

Muzzy would probably be the "guru", followed by kbryant (area P) ... of course there's Orient Express and Brock...

I think it's fair to say that Muzzy is the only one here who has acheived "guru" status (at risk of offending the other said gurus )

I wonder who put more dyno passes and 1/4 mile passes on a 14 out of these Gurus, anyone want to guess. I think I have a pretty good Idea. kbryant do they even offer a full system?

Bently... I believe areap only offers a slip-on, however the question was "who's the guru of exhausts"/... I'm just giving the obvious answer.

Thanks Jeff, I still have her.....Just waiting for the weather to break to finalize the deal..

Guys, I'm not trying to start a which is best flame war here......I just was asking who makes a single out exhaust for the 14, after I figure out what is on the market and available I'll choose which one would work best for my use......Maybe I didn't word the question properly....Thanks, Mike..

how do you define "the best" pipe? Then you'd have to seriously look at Orient and also Tsukigi...

As for being a guru... Brock doesnt have enough grey hair to be a guru just yet

I'm still waiting to hear from akro on their full system. Area P wrote and said that they have been working on a full system for some time, but were unsure when it would be released.

Fish to me your answer is only obvious in your wallet(muzzy being a site sponser) and your friendship(you and Rob) but we all understand that. In a few more years when I get alittle older and want to slow down I will consider a different pipe then Brock's . LOL

dude... you're talking out of your ass... they're ALL my friends, and they all sponsor the site.. it's an equal playing field, and this ain't zx-14.net so stop being a chump....

like I said, Brock doesnt have enough grey hair to be the guru... in fact he has little or no hair! this doesnt mean Brock isnt a great guy or his products arent awesome...

we're talking about guru status...

you can only achieve that with time, my son.

if you really want to split hairs, then why dont you start talking about Hindle?

Fish is right and a stand up guy (even if he did call me a chump, last time I was called that was like 3rd grade)for not deleteing threads or banning people on this site. and fish you have been muzzy bias ever since I started posting on this site and I'm sure since before that.we have all read it over and over. And it takes more then grey hair to be a guru. I don't think hair has anything to do with it or age for that matter. some of the best tuners out there in the car would with todays electronic controlled and turbo cars are in there 20's and 30's and IMO are gurus in there field. And what about hindle?
