tire pressures

What is the air pressures on the stock tires susposed to be?

Warning, air pressure varies according to how you ride too.

42/42 is stock

Air pressure is predicated upon several variables such as road conditions, how you are riding, spirited/touring, etc. If you just want a number to start with take a look at the sidewall of the tire. I trust it over the manual especially when changing out the tires.

I just did that with my Pilot Power that had 1000 twisty miles on it. It went another 100 miles and went flat, had some weird metal fragments in it.


It was still fun smoking out the neighborhood.

Have as much fun as you can afford!

DUH of course the tire was being changed! That was in the DUC dealers parking lot. I couldn't stand the factory tires and was getting PP's put on.
