3 zx14's in ill. looking to go to charlotte n/c
thinking of going to charlotte area in feb for a week when weather is nice, any players in the area?

Charlotte weather in February will be iffy. check www.weather.com for averages this time of year. My guess is that we're experiencing a colder than average winter. here's some great roads to ride but keep in mind the temps in the mountains will be 10 degrees colder than Charlotte and it can snow at any time. You might consider going further south to Taladega AL or New Orleans for Marti Gras

there are a few dragstrips, but they are at least an hour away. Rockingham and Fayetteville are 1/4 mile strips. Piedmont , mooresville, and farminton are 1/8 mile strips.
Rockingham will have an open test on thursday thru sunday, feb 22-24.

As for roads to cruise on , there are some good roads in the Uwharrie Nat forest as well as the smoky mtns, but it may be cool side.

yeah you might want to watch the weather i am an hour a way fromcharlotte and we have 65 today but suppose to be 45 on friday the weather changes like the wind here this time of year

that would not be that bad to us, you know we got snowmobile cloths, what are the roads like, clean?

yeah , no sand or salt spread on the roads around here . If the weather is ok, the roads will be in good shape.

I am new to the site. If you make it this way we may be able to hook up. I am 15 miles west of Charlotte with a few curves and four lane straights. 70 degrees today.

damn , it only got to 52 here in raleigh .... hard to believe it is that much better down there.
I should be taking the zx14 to rockingham on 2/17 to test if the weather is cooperates.
