Pics (Drag Seat Completed)
I know some of you are getting tired of seeing pics, but I figured I'd share some anyway.
Sponsor had the drag seat painted. The color is slightly off. Its fine with me though.
Aside from painting the fairing screws and powder coating the foot pegs, wheels, and heel guards, I sliced of the reflector that sat below the license plate. Also, I am going to make screens (black off course) to fill in the gaps in fairing, add pipe, airshifter, and pc.
Bike is slowly reaching completion, track opens March 17th. Hopefully it'll warm up here soon.

That thing looks mean as hell on the ground like that. I'm wanting to lower mine when I take it to the track. It opens up soon, so I need to go ahead and order the kit. Looks like yours is for drag purpose only. Mine will only see the dragstrip every once in a while. Again, mean lookin bike!

Bike looks nice!!!!
Its the Catalyst seat, Yes it did rub the paint however I put some clear auto body tape under it, so it wont mess up the paint.
Its thicker and more durable than regulat tape but not very noticeable. I trimmed it with the lines of the seat. so it cant be seen.

Thanks Rick,
I used the main brake line and just removed the one that connected to the left caliper and put a short drilled bolt in the brake line. I'll show you, I'm horrible and describing things.
After I saw the bike back together I do want the forks in black, but I messing with it for now. Gotta put a pipe, pc, and airshifter on it next.
Did Shawn put an arm on his bike yet? Street Bikes Plus has a 4-6 over arm in black that
John with the other red 14 at Gaterway was supposed to get but never picked up?

Haven't done the oil pan yet. Gotta try and keep on the ground or bring it down soft.
Ground clearance is an inch and a quarter.
I put a Shinko 120/60/17 on the front and it lowered the bike a bit.

There's supposed to be a mod where you can place the drain plug on the side instead of the on the bottom. I may try the bike like it is first. I don't really ride that hard to were the front wheel comes off the ground.

I have modded my oil pan with the drain plug on the side. Its pretty easy. Im thinking the other modded oil pan is by cutting the pan and changing the sump. Ill look into just putting a bolt in the 1 side of the line splitter. Ive been planning on doing it anyway, it really shows off the wheel on your bike. I just finished up a gsxr1000 for a guy, having a lil prob with it. Know any1 who knows alot about these bikes? Its a 2006. We put full brocks smeg, lowered it and extended it. Oh and a pc. I did all of it but the pc. Hes saying it wont idle now. Got any ideas?

Must be a problem with the map or PC itself, because you're good at setting up bikes.
Brandon (Shop Mechanic) at StreetBikesPlus owns 2006 gsxr1000 with similar mods.
He could figure out before I could.
BTW, you wanna do the mod on my pan? Next oil change will be in April.
