Well I Did It.
Got home from work at lunchtime and the sun was shining, hardly any wind and temperature around 10 degrees Centigrade, a beautiful day. So I put lunch on hold and went into the garage and removed the secondary butterflies. Took me about 20 minutes, then I went for a short 20 mile ride.
The spec' of the bike is now: TiForce 4:1 system, Power Commander, Speedo Healer, 18/41 gearing and No 'Flies. Adjustable dog-bones and front strap anchors there for when I want it lowered.
It was pretty quick before, especially top-end at 205 but needed some revs and a bit of throttle/clutch juggling to get off the line quickly. Now, even with the 18 tooth sprocket, it just HAULS from around 2000rpm. I new it would be good from a short ride I had on a friends 14 last year plus what's been said on this forum but I forgot just how good and how different. Going to change a few more items next week, mainly synthetic oil and air filter, then do another dyno' set-up.

Bob you know of anyone that actually has the Titanium Force pipe in stock. Right now it seems to be made out of UNOBTANIUM instead of TITANIUM, I can't find one..

Knew you would :-)
Think how my 16/43 feels......but redline comes before the speed limiter - small price to pay :-)

I'm in the UK and bought my TiForce from http://www.p3unlimited.com/
They seem to arrive in small batches from Japan. I missed the first delivery last year but they put me on the list and emailed me when they had more stock. A really nice company to deal with.

So lemmie get this straight...
your bike (with mods in your sig) made 192rwhp, 112ft/ibs torque, and did a vertified 205mph and that was with the Flies IN?!
Wonder what she'll do now?

Peak power won't change with the 'flies out. It just gets rid of the hole in the power curve at low rpm and makes it easier to launch and a whole lot better for everyday riding. It should hold a 'Busa in the first few yards of a side-by-side roll on now, which it didn't before, and then clear off into the distance, which it did anyway.

Gene, you gotta do it bro!
What the smeg did to the mid and top, flies out will do for the bottom!!
Its that good !
A guy your size will surely appreciate it!
I thought you had removed them already! otherwise I would have been hounding you!
Seriously, the bottom torque will remind you of your Harley days!
No more downshifting, leave the lights aggresivley at 3000 rpm.... way easier to ride, and way way more fun! It will feel like a new bike.
Oh, and a speedo healer and 16-41 gearing will make you fall in love with it all over yet ....again!
if you don't do much distance riding and want to really shit an giggle, 16/43 is even more fun yet.
Spend another benjamin, on sprockets and remove the STP, and down load brocks map.
You'll think your riding a new bike!

yes my smokin friend, alas your skillz are superior !
Imagine roll ons with your GF on board,..... 150 lbs x 2 +300lbs!
TM weighs 300 LBS, he NEEDS to take them out!
Drag racing or not!!
Don't get me wrong,
Many times I wish I had his girth and stature, It would have saved from me many fights (scare the sheite out of them!!! LOL), and I wouldn't have had to use as much energy and muscle power to submit my opponents!
