On the subject of incorrect speedo's and tacho's, the guy from the Speedo Healer company in Hungary, Norbert, originally told me it would be possible to use two. One after the gearbox tacho to put in an offset to keep below the ecu speed limiter and the second before the speedo itself to correct the reading.
Since the speedo and the tacho are both pulsed devices it should be possible to put a couple of Speedo Healers into the circuit, one before each meter. Then, in theory at least, you could calibrate each instrument on a dynomometer and the ODO would be correct.
In practice I put the SH into the convert kph to mph mode. This steps the speedo down to the inner kph scale which becomes a 300mph meter. However on a top speed run I never look at the speedo, too much else to concentrate on. I just watch the tacho because even though the numbers are wrong I know where the engine rev limiter cuts in and I change up just before this.

Bob would they both be plug and play or would some custom wiring have to be done??
I plan on re-gearing my bike at somepoint and I want both the ODO and Speedo accurate...

As far as I know the Speedo Healer installed in the gearbox tacho' line is the only plug and play, with the Kawasaki harness kit. I assume anything else would require a bit of wiring. The man who might know is Norbert at info@speedohealer.com who replied to my original inquiry. (He speaks English)

The speedo/ODO and tach are driven by the ECU through a CAN system and the ECU is fed from a single source for speed. You can't hack into the CAN wires......
