tire choice
I just saw nightmare's video, what is the best tire to run other than the stock one to get the best traction.....or should more time be spent on setting up the supsenion...

I am experimenting with the drag tec and the mickey thompson mcr2 now. The shinko Ultra soft works pretty good. That was just a bad street.

I doubt I would leave the line hard enough to need a shinko, or anything else like that. Wheelies still scare me on a bike :O

I got a PP CT2 on the rear. Great traction but I think I was getting quite a bit more mileage out of the stock tire. I have been riding a bit harder, but I'd say the stock tires are good for 1000-2000 more miles and have more than enough traction for me.

Pilot Power anythings (it doesn't matter what flavor who cares) for the road
Pilot Power Race Medium Compound for the track (preheated with chicken-hawk tire warmers.
Need we say more?

Speaking of Pilot Race tires, I was at Homestead-Miami raceway this past weekend on a set! I'm on the #715 Honda staging behind that (cough/puke/choke) beautiful team marlboro ducati!
