Carpenter Racing
Have any of you guys looked at carpenter web site and seenthe developments they have had with the zx-14. they seem to be getting a lot of power of these things

Bob has over 30 years of cylinder head development experience. The 14 has a very good head. It's one limiting factor is the size of the valve spring bucket (Same as the 12). Four valve engines seem to prefer lift over duration and big lift cams can't be used in the Kawasaki without major modifications (i.e. bigger buckets). With Muzzy developing this engine for Pro Stock, the performance advances will be quite rapid. Good for all of us.

Yeha i have been throwing the idea of turbo around and with thouse prices yo uge mor Hp with a turbo at less cost. I cant remeber who it was but someone on the board planned on selling a turbo fo rthe 14 for about 3200 and that was for about 240-280 hp on the stock motot
