DYNO
CHIP HUNTER is going to use my 14 for dyno testing this saturday ,he is going to test the tsukigi gen 1 and gen 2 pipe,and there new soon to be released sidewinder ,going to dyno it up against a muzzy sidewinder,i well post dyno sheets from each pipe ,well be late saturday night or sunday

Why would you let the person SELLING you the pipe do the comparison... I would be scared that I wouldnt get accurate results you know the operator can make the numbers say whatever he wants

Chip is not like that.....he's a good dude that has left his mark on the sport of Dragracing and Prostar,he would not alter the results, just to sell a pipe...

I don't think you will see a 1 or 2 HP difference between the 2 sidewinder pipes if each pipe is custom mapped ..The sidewinder are RACE pipes and will not show great gains on a stock motor ..They will start to shine or show their worth with a Big bore, stroker kit. cams or big shots of spray...I'm going to be TRACK testing my Smeg Vs a Sidewinder , i feel there may be a slight gain with the sidewinder (Very small if any gain ) But later down the road as i add power adders i'm sure the sidewinder will out run any type of street pipe ..
Chip seems to be a good guy and i look forward to seeing the dyno charts ...Smokin..

This is an interesting comment....if this is true than the "belief" ratio for what one reads on the internet just went down to single % digits.... 
I'm only comparing Tsukigi standard pipes against themselves for internal R&D use and using a Muzzy I have for a baseline against our sidewinder. Late in Feb I will also test our sidewinder vs standard mount on a "non" stock 14 engine, it just isn't ready yet.
If Ralph wants to stay and endure hours of noise and fuel fumes he is more than welcome if he thinks I am going to "tinker" with the results. I even invited the local Tucker Rocky rep if he has time to show up.
I have never shyed away from just sending my dyno run files out for customers to read via Run Viewer software(if you know what you are doing with the software you can figure out if someone is tinkering with the files). If you ever noticed on the pipe dyno charts I have posted they have been "bolt on" hp readings not one baseline pull vs custom mapped pull #XXX. I just want to show what a customer can expect bolting on as I feel this is where you get your bang for the buck. I have always been a firm believer in a guy getting a custom map done for his bike in his area for best results rather than trying to map it for him from states away. I have even made available to the public basemaps without restriction to just customers.

ralph doesnt think u well do that ,i really dont care what pipe makes more power ,i like the TSUKIGI' s and thats what is going on my bike........

I wasnt refering to anyone in particular and yes I am well aware who Chip Hunter is... My point was simply Not that you would SCREW someone but If I dont give someone the chance to screw me then they CANT I meant no disrespect I was not speaking specifically of any one person just a general rule of thumb I will NOT let someone who sold me a pipe or any ohter product do a comparison of there product versus another product... Definately not saying I wouldnt let the person I bought the pipe from tune my Pipe I just wouldnt TRUST a comparison from that person... I have seen too many comparisons for instance where Orient Express has said there pipe makes X more power then the Muzzy and Muzzy says there pipe makes X more power then Orient Express I woulod just rather do the test myself and make an INFORMED decision... and yes I am a rookie but hey you gotta start somewhere right??

Naa I am a small business owner I dont really have trust issues it is more of a willingness and a desire to do my own research... I just see no point in putting a Retailer in a position where a conflict of interest might occur for there sake and mine... I would think it is common sense that "how many people are going to tell you hey that other product that is cheaper then mine makes more power but I still think you should buy mine cause I am nicer" LMAO when you think of it like that it makes sense doesnt it???

Guys look...All Chip is going to do is prove that his pipe is a contender, basically he's putting his money where his mouth is!!!
For all of us that is a Win-Win situation!!!...All the pipe manufacturers/tuners/sponsored retailers are doing this now for us, proving to us we are getting the best for our $$$ spent !!!
Remember back in the day how many pipes there were around???...Only a few were high quality!!!...Most were junk as was the old Vance & Hines street pipe...Everyone bought them because of his NHRA DragRacing performances...We had to take the manufacturers word and retailers word that what we were getting was the best...
Now things are different...Now we really know we are getting a awesome product for our $$$...It's just that there are soo many awesome products!!!...But now we cant go wrong
