NO i didn't spray! I was only doing a dry run to test the tire in that road and trying to see how hard could I launch it! Don't really use the spray until a race or time to get away

Fuck brother, .... we're in the midst of winter here, i haven't ridden sine October 30th.
20 below and 2 feet of snow.
Brother you don't know how good you guys have it!
Thanks for the vid, I get pumped with anticipation of spring when I see them.
Oh, I'd increase your rebound if you already haven't, to keep the tire planted better through the shifts, and the rear suspension should be stiff enough it doesn't wheelie, yet doesn't squat too much, as your wasting HP compressing the spring, rather than putting it all to the pavement.
Its a balance between wheelie, tire spin, and squating the rear .
Looks good though.
Wish i were down there!
PS:
keep an eye on the swingarm chain slider, be sure the chain doesn't saw through it an into the swingarm!
16/44 would be better way to go to keep the chain off the slider, and reduce power lost through the tight radius the chain has to travel on that 15 tooth sproket too!
16-44 (2.75 :1) is very close to 15/41 gearing. (2.73 :1)

How long do you heat your tire smokin? and I leave at 3500 but I am not strapped. Do you think that is too low?

Yup 3500 is low... Get yourself a 25 dollar strap... I do a low first gear burn out ...Get the tire spinning but keep it at lower rpms like 3500 to 4000 ...Tilt the bike side to side to spread the heat on the tire ...As you are doing this look for tire smoke, you don't need a big cloud but just a nice light haze coming from the tire....I have gone as low as 12 PSI if the track is not hooking ...If it's hooking i go as high as 25 psi... This is for the track only .... This doesn't work for the street ...!!! Well it will help on the street but nothing really works that well on the street.... Smokin..

How long will you be gone need to keep your bike in good condition i promise you will have a little rubber left on the tire when you get back, Just kidding. Will you be coming back to the area or r u packing up for a few years.Plus you had to wait until the weather about to break to leave

dude, that was by far one of the best vids that i've ever saw man. It was totally rad and that was one fast as run you just did. What rpms did you launch at and how long is your swing arm and how much do you have the front end lowered or strapped and the back dropped? lol i know alot of ?'s but whatever setup you have is really kick ass.

It's about 2 inches on both ends. not strapped at all. Don't usually strap it unless I'm at the track! Then, it was stretched 8 inches. It had the nos on it but I did not spray it this run for it would have just broke loose even more. Went down 2 in the front with brocks smeg pipe/pc custom mapped and tuned to shit!

another ? nightmare, why do you only strap it when you go to the track? What is the difference between it being straped at the track rather then it being off? What does the strap do in the first place verses the lowering links...? Thanks again man.

My first vid I ever made. Yes I know it is out of focus and that it kinda blows lol. But it's all I have 4 now. Hoping next one will be an improvement. This 14 is my first bike in 8 years and I only had 3500 miles under my belt in this vid. But excuses are for pussy's so it is what it is. I posted this once before so I won't post it again being people might get pissed. Oh and I have been on the net for a minute so I will not respond to negative BS.............. Thanks

Lowering links lowered the back of the bike basically! A strap hooks to you calipers with the brackets and goes around the neck ogf the frame. It allows you to cinch down the front so it will not pop up once you launch the bike. You have to worry about this at the track because VHT is sprayed on the ground and you can leave harder but due to the fact that it is so sticky, you are subject to come up. Now on the street, You can not leave as hard. Not prepped like the track! You want the weight of the bike to tranfer to the back tire so no spinning will take place. Once you un strap it, the front shock can now allow the bike to pop up a little causing the weight to shift to the rear. MORE TRACTION!
