Thanks Stalwart.. I've always heard from guys on the net ...That slider's are bad..And i 've never owned a set... But sure looks like they work to some degree..Now if i can find the link to a Dallas outfit that make full cages for stunt bikes...I think thats the way to go

Saw a guy's CBR600 after a low side, sliders worked wonderfully. I mostly got them for protection during a low speed drop, where they should work extremely well.

Sliders worked great until the bike hit the dirt and started tumbling! Then it was "game over"!

Funny you mentioned that, a lady I ride with low-sided her R1. Because of it sliding off the road into sand and the slider digging in, the bike went flipping. Its now torn all to %$^#! I thought that was a "once in a million" type thing till I saw you mention this.

They are a good idea for when someone knocks over your bike in the parking lot. I learned this the hard way.
