That is supposed to prevent damage after the fairing has been torn away :-)........cosmetic pieces I think .....

Well, they're made of solid carbon fibre up to 1/8 an inch thick, from my experience protects the engine cases/water pump etc much better than any slider can.

Not worth the money IMHO, cause the heat causes the CF to fade, or the sunlight does.

I guess you're not into carbon fiber exhausts either then. Who cares about fade when CF reduces weight and heat anyway? Or maybe thats just some BS everyone's been telling me over the years

This is not going to reduce weight since it is an add-on.....not a replacement part. If you want CF then use it where it belongs - on a Ducati :-)

Well, I was attempting to give you some silly line about CF fading; just telling you what I've seen experienced first hand. The Armor will do just that over time, unlike the exhaust which for whatever reason doesn't fad. I have CF 2 bros on my 14 and it's fine, used Yoshi CF exhaust in the past, no fade with exhaust cans, only armor......why? Who knows.
Looks great the first summer, looks like crap the second!
