Road racing and drag racing schools???
I'd like to take my riding ability and knowledge to the next level and was wondering which schools offer the best instruction and value? Being the speed junkies that you are I''m sure a lot of my fellowzx-14.com amigos have been to a school in pursuit of the powers of the "dark side". Do tell. Help me Obi-Wan, you're my only hope...

I have been through Kieth Codes school twice, Beginner and advanced. Very good school
It led me to 4 years of AMA and WERA RR back in the '80's

Enjoy and learn, Beware Road Racing is the most challenging and ADDICTIVE thing I have ever done. It cost me $$$$ lots of it, and a marriage to my first wife.
That being said, if you can do it with boundaries about money, time and relationships so they do not suffer you will learn more about yourself and your love for riding than you can imagine

Out west there really is nothing, other than going to the track and getting with some guys in the know.. We help as many people as we can, since we are trying to get the west coast to grow again. East coast there is alot, I believe Jason Miller is getting ready to do his schools.

We will be in Sac a couple of times. Fontana is our home track, Barona is a good 1/8 mile track, I believe Irwindale on thursday nights draws a crowd. Will be in Vegas in February (PSCA) has a ET class. Bakersfield for summit, and Hopefully something will happen in Sanoma for us, Really want to run in that good air

Sonoma/Infineon is awesome. Used to race there years ago. i'll be racing at Sac, and Redding, both 1/4 miles. Never have raced 1/8 mile, and wouldn't want to.
Raced Bakersfield/Famosa years ago also. Good track, just really hot.
I think Sonoma will be as far south as I go, unless there is some compelling reason for me to go to Vegas, or Bakersfield.
Still have to dial in the bike to see what we're going to have. Don't want to go all that way with a basketcase and have to work on it all the time.

Join me at racing school on the Nascar HOMESTEAD track Friday February 9th for class...and practice on the sweet track all day Saturday.
Then another class and practice day at DAYTONA SPEEDWAY in March! That track is going to be awesome too.
And all you northerners are welcome to come too, just wash all that white crap of your rides before crossing the state line :P
