Bikeland Tribute Relay

PK has suggested the idea of a Bikeland Tribute Relay. This ride would be to give tribute to those good people our community has lost over the years since Bikeland came into existence. One thought of the relay would be to conduct it on those rodes you knew were favored by the individual you were paying tribute to.

A good example of that would be Chuckanut Drive here in Washington State when paying tribute to Zhooligan.

This thread will remained pinned at the top of the forum. My only request would be to keep this thread on topic. Since the other thread is echoed in places like the Smack House, it's open to a lot of off topic postings. By maintaining a thread in a single forum where it can be moderated, I feel it will be easier to keep it germane to the topic.

My laptop melted down about five minutes after talking to PK, hence I lost all the proggies, like Streets 'n Trips, on it. However, I'll try to gen up some stuff on the for us to use. A good source of info for BC and Washington is, of course, Destination Highways. For CA, there's a website, but the url escapes me just now. Any help would be appreciated as we put the legs of the relay together.

I was just speaking for the portion through WA. There's a lot of work to be done with regards to laying out a complete route, if we decide to do that. I'll talk to PK this weekend and throw some ideas at her.

I want to do this as a friend to friend, four corners ride....
Involve as many riders/people as possible.

No "set route" just go on your favorite road and post up some pictures of the road and your ride.
Then meet up with the next Bikeland Memeber and pass the flag along.

It would be great to do it as an annual event.

I would like to raise some money for a charity, is there a charity that meant a lot to Don or to his family?
