Crossing Over

After riding and racing Suzukis for twenty years I won this on eBay. (equipped as shown for $8700.). The selling dealer was only 100 miles from my home. With the holidays and weather I have only been out once but it is apparent that the 14 is a better streetbike than the aging Busa. Comfy, agile, torquey, great brakes; it does it all. The Brock pipe is a little loud for an old man but I can work on that. I look forward to many enjoyable miles. Doug Meyer, I know you are smiling. lol. Larry

Nice gold rims on that Busa in the picture, I want to put a set of gold rims on my Blue 14 think it would look really good IMO. And welcome to the Board

Welcome Larry to the dark side ..I Also have had two busas in the past as many members here have ..We all know what you are feeling It's to bad other Busa owners spend so much time putting down the zx14, if they just rode one they would feel totaly different ...

I'm pretty old also. Lately, since the race tracks have shut down for the season, I was thinking, I've got a 12 in my work shop that is only for racing and a new 14 in the garage for riding around on. A big truck and trailer for carrying the race bike, and on and on. I thought, what the hell am I doing with all this stuff. A man my age is supposed to be playing with the grand kids and taking long naps. The last Wednesday was real nice and I took the 14 out and then I remembered why I had all that stuff. I appreciate that 14 more than any of the bikes I've had since I've been buying bikes almost 50 years ago.

By the way, I've got the same pipe as on your bike and I wouldn't have it any other way.

LSLarry,
Congrats on your new ride. I am a bit like you and could not let the old number 1 go when new number 1 came along. Ahh buy some tire stock and live well. Congrats my friend

Larry,
I read the SMEG is loud, but I was really surprised and happy how quiet my Gen 3 is.

+1, I typically don't like the busa look, but that color scheme is great.
