power commander map loading
Hey guys i have a question that i want to pose. I recently recieved a map from a friend of mine who had his 14 dynoed. When loading th emap i had some difficulty. Once everything was connected and i was able to read the rpm and duty cycle i tried to send the map by pressing send map. It gave me an error message. I close the box and hit get map. IN the dialog box at the bottom center it said retrieving map and the map that i just tried to send popped up. I then hit send map again and the map sent successfully and gave me a dialog box map sent successfully. Have any of you guys experience this also is the send table/send map function the same just as the get map/get table buttons?????? I think i loaded my map okay i am going back outside to check. My partner bike dynoed at 180hp and 112 lbs/tq his bike set-up is a muzzy full system, flies removed, and the metal screens on the back of the air-filters removed. On the same dyno on the same day right after one another another buddy of mine 14 dynoed at 171 hp and 105 lbs/tq he has the same mods except instead of a full muzzy he has the area P's slip ons.
What do you guys think of the numbers and mc pcIII usb problem. THe map are legit they were done in jacksonville by a known dyno operator Vincent Hill can vounch for this guy. Say this guys really knows his shit.

Tq's a little high, but the hp #'s are inline with everybody else.
Problem loading maps may be due to having one of the original ZX10R powercommanders ported over to use on the ZX14. Simply highlight the map, click copy, then open up a new blank map, click paste, then load.

Thats pretty stout in the Tq department, you got a goood map.
I've never set the throttle position. Not sure if it would do anything anyway.

Ya.. I wondered the same. Running an S-meg and Pc III now. Flies in, stock filter.
Big differance from stock
Next Flies mod and 16t and maybe a 42 or 43 out back
Does K & N make a better filter yet ?
