BROCK'S PERFORMANCE: New 2007 Limited Edition "Stock by Brock" ZX-14 Check this out, Brock is selling them race ready, No Vista Kawisaki is selling race ready, sorry Brock. http://www.dragbike.com/dbnews/anmviewer.asp?a=2683&z=5
This is a better special edition option than the white that Kawi is selling. Cost a bit more, Deal or No Deal?????????
You would have to break it in at the track with it setup like this from day one.
It would make a great gift.
Someone help me out with the link if its not working.

But the big question is "Which would you buy? A stock ZX-14 or the Stock-by-Brock special edition if they both cost the same price?" Maybe fish can start a poll...
Back to reality... nice combo Brock. Looks like the perfect set of add-ons for someone wanting to head straight to the strip for a few runs. How about a sticky drag tire to go with it though?

I think Brock is a fan of the stock tire but I think he only races at the track that Battlax doesnt hook real well on street racing

It would have been nice if the bike came with the ''flies'' removed and the appropiate map.

Guys,
It's a brand new bike with full Kawasaki warranty. We started it to be sure we didn't have any exhaust leaks, and I rode it around the parking lot to test the chassis, etc... (after installing the strap and lowering the front/rear) to be sure all was well. It still shows less than 1 mile on the odometer.
Since we had no idea of the riding expertise of the purchaser of unit 0001, we left the flies in to prevent trouble. Imagine 40-50 extra ft-lbs of torque at 3500 rpm on a wet street with a rookie rider@!#!
We will remove the flies -at no charge- and install the correct map for this bike and any others ordered in this manner at the customer's request. Vista Jim is a great guy to deal with. It will be interesting to see what type of interest this generates.

why would you sell it with a strap??? lowering blocks in forks would be most appropriate. i realize that its easy to just unstrap it for stock height but it isnt exactly safe for riding on the street. i personally would not ride a strapped bike on the open roads.
by the way, is 0001 already sold?

I think the point countersteer is that you dont ride it around with the strap pulled, I would think that someone buying this bike is aware that it is meant for the strip where a strap is better then blocks because it removes a lot of the rebound of the shocks

i have always been under the impression that straps were no good for street riding, and that blocks are the best way to go. i was going to lower my 12 with blocks but decided that i didnt want to lose ground clearance.
brock is offering a very nice bike, but i figured blocks might be a better choice.
if i didnt already have a 14 i would buy one of these: ____________

First of All I love Brock's products and use his stuff. And it's the only exhaust i recoomend. But I don't think that bike will sell very well because there are to many left over 14's sitting around that can be bought for around 9800 to 10200 out the door then add the 2300 hundred on for parts and your at 12,000 to 12,500 not 13800.
