Hey Brock.. The wife (girlee) gave me my X-mas present early. The Pc III set up for my stock bike helped with mid range response and a little on top. Next a pipe and.....
Thanks TM

Toolman how much did you gain. I got close to 5 horsepower and a little bit of torque with a re-map on stock exhaust..

That sounds about right. I have just been using my personal butt dyno so far. Much better mid range. Can't wait till right after the holidays, Pipe and sprockets (16/42).

Is anybody having clearance issuses with the Brocks S-meg? I am more of a twistys guy, But I love the old megaphone look, Had them on all my 80's bikes (GS 1100 esd , 900 Ninja)

Tool man, I don't think you want a smeg for twisties at all. Well at least if you really really lean that thing on that side, the pipe will rub.

Would a Gen 3 work better ? No chicken strips here but I am also not draging the fairing on the street either.

My bike is lowered, 1.25" frt and rear... no chicken strips, and the smeg hasn't dragged yet....
yes no chicken strip...
I have touched the peg feelers, but never touched the pipe.

My bike probably has about the same ride height saddled as yours does with you on it TM
I weigh 220 suited.

You'll be OK.
I think your (myself too)a liitle more reserved then some of the guys around here.
(cornering anyway LOL)
Put it this way, I ride it, and ride it like i intend to ride tomorrow.

Every time I put the helmet on I tell myself to behave and treat it with some respect.
I would love to climb on it and wring the nutz out of her, like my younger days racing motocross, but I have bills to pay, a family to feed and a mortgage.

I just don't push myself or the machine past 95% of our abilities.

Anyone riding without a safety margin on the street, is gonna and up wrecked or dead.
Period.
If I get hurt, or wreck the bike, or lose my license.... well the fun is over ...

I want to play everyday!

I'm not afraid to admit I have grown up and my responsibilities have taken some level of control of my life...
Good thing too cause the road i was on 10 years ago was rapidly headin towards a DEAD end.

Thanks dubious... I whole heartily agree, 30+ years of dirt, ice racing, and road racing have given me many skills. The best one is KNOWING when to back off. I really like the pics. I have seen of the S-meg. Might have too... Merry X-mas too me

OOOps. I forgot to add that I am around 1 1/2" lowered and stretched. When I see a Muzzy, Tsukigi or Gen III pipe that hugs the bike closer, then yes those would clear but on my bike with the SMEG, it will rub on mine.

For those of you that purchased earlier in the month of December (before the sale started,) give the office a call and ask to speak to Rhonda. (937) 298-6818

We will issue you an IN STORE credit for 10% off of retail total of your purchase. This is only for those who purchased that first on or after Dec. 1st, but who might have missed the sale by a couple of days.

Thanks to all and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!

Brock

I also say the only way my Smeg will drag is if I'm sliding on the ground and I'm lowered as well
