Thanks. I just found out that the power commander for the 06 will work on my 07 so I'll be getting one of those. Any certain map you guys recommend for the fly's out with dual D&D slip-ons?

I've been thinking about PC'ing my bike. If I do, I'll ask D&D if they will put my bike back on the dyno and make a custom map (with and without flies). My bike was their prototype bike used for the mid-pipe & slip-on system that they sell. I'm sure they wouldn't mind being able to supply those maps to customers with their systems... but it may be a few months before I make the "PC" jump.

Wow! Well, the pipes fit great  I just ordered the commander so, is there a map I could run until D&D comes out with one of their own? Perhaps muzzy?

A guy I talked with last night said pulled them out of his '06 R1 too.

This is my RWTQ (no numbers shown b/c that is not the point here)
Red is stock
Green is no flies
...blue is another test......
Look how SMOOTH the green is - and it rides as good as it looks........
I rode to Laguna-Seca from Los Angeles in July - a lot of miles while up there - a lap around the track w/ 150+ degrees out there and back home .....w/ no PC........never a problem. Addition of the PC changes little, but was worth adding - esp if you get pipes.

I'm trying to get rid of the Gixxer, but thanks. It has front sprocket lowered 2 teeth, not my doing. It's insanely torqy. The flies may be already pulled too, not sure. The bike is really geared way too low, it's hard to stay on the damn thing when you're just tooling around. Also have to shift 3 gears to notice a difference, they're too close together. I can shift straight from 1st to 6th and it feels a normal shift.

Is that green line just from removing the flies? What did you do to get the blue line? It kinda follows the same path as the red, just higher results.

Well i don't run 95 octane, i run 89 octane and i'm going to try it on 87 next time to the track...Less octane makes more power as long as it's not spark knocking....The race map seems to work great on the street... Others are running the race map on the street and claim it runs fine ... The brocks race map states it's fine for 87 89 as well as U4 and MR9 race fuels ... If you want or you are worried you can run Brocks street map for no flys and it will be down a tiny bit on power but not much ...Smokin..

Thanks. Not realy worried about drag racing. Would like to do a top end run once the package is installed.

Ya, I know it's the sprocket. 6th gear is lower than 3rd gear on my 14. Might get some wings in the future, first I need some wheelie bars to get it out of the garage on 2 wheels.
