Update on oil in airbox
Well, the community rules!
The dealer concensus is that the airbox was contaminated by oil from one of two things.
1. Overfill of crank case, likely at start of life.
2. I put it in there. Not as likely.
Any way the solution is to keep the level in check. I will do so from now on.

Having to much oil in the engine will cause this. I do the maintaince on our 14's. When I pulled the flies there was oil in the air box. Klotz. So I know I was the culprit. It didn't come with Klotz in it from the factory. Looked at the level glass and it was just a thick wisker over full. Ditto

From the book:

.....so it is expected.
In the canyons I use a lot of throttle braking and RPM's so when the air switching valve opens oil will go in. If you use less throttle braking and at lower RPMs you will get less oil.........or put on the block-offs.
