Tyre Pressure
Hi Guy's
I just picked up a 14 and the owners manuel states that I should set tire pressures cold at 42 psi for general road riding - Is this correct ???
I have been running 34/36 in previous 1 litre bikes - what gives

42 Max psi.
Most run a little softer, Mine 37 front 39 rear around town and in the caynons. I am a big guy so I might run them a little harder than some. Touring 40 psi in both for less heat.

Not sure but I thought the manual stated 42 PSI as normal, not max...which is normal for theses big heavy bikes. My 10R manual says the same thing...my Busa's did as well.

I run 42 and mine, got down 2 pounds and I could feel the difference. That's me, my dealer couldn't believe I could feel the difference. My good gauge was at the house so I stopped to have them check it with a quality gauge. Bike + 280(me) I feel it doesn't track as well.
