I wish I could go 9 teens on my 12 when it was stock wheelbase!!!

I was close with a 9.21 @ 153 with mr9, pipe, gearing, no PC, BUT it's a 60" wheelbase...

One thing for certain, is Muzzy is right about the Big Guys! What I did not mention is this guy has a friend that I also know very well with a ZX14 and is also about 275 and he removed his Flies also. The good news for him is he is close to where DOug Ray is and the guy who built Bergies engines.

The Good (Actually Great News) to the Owners of ZX14's with Muzzy Pipes is that they will soon have available some mapping that with put them in the park and be less cause for All day Dyno sessions. Again, you do not bring something up, it never gets heard!

Everyone can use the Additional 30 HP you can get with the plates out. I was just surprised that Ryan and others could not make any use of it!

Vince Not everyone needs that extra 30 hp down low ....I didn't need it to run 9.18s ..Brock bike didn't need it to run 9.0s and after brock pulled the flys out he did go faster but only a few 100ths quicker and that could have been the rider.....You have to remember that in a drag race you don't leave the line at 3500, in fact i never see below 5500....Your are slipping the clutch and adding power at the same time so you will never see that extra 30 hp....Flys out have NO hp gains at high RPMs. My motor spends 99.9 % of it's time between 9000 and 11000 so for me i have no need to pull the flys........Some people may say that from a roll on race you will need the flys pulled or you will get killed....No the case for me, i have roll on raced every size and every brand bike out there and my zx14 with flys in place and pulled them from the word go... So don't say everybody because that's not true............. Vince please go back to the zx12 threads and give advice over there ....If you get a zx14 come back and we will talk .... Smokin..

Power down low is now not necessary! Nice to hear that! I thought the Tire and suspension set up were more the Limiting factors on the "Amount of Power down low" a Motorcycle could use! The Drag Strips have rules and Limitations! The Streets do not!

How ever you slice it, NOW the Option will be available for Mapping Flies in or Out and again the Choice in a Pipe will be Just that! If this had been the case from the Beginning, this thread would have never come up for 2 reasons. #1 he would not have needed the extensive Dyno TIme and #2, My Advice would have still been to go with the Brock but I could have added you will still be OK with the Muzzy. Neither were true when he started!

Grow UP, People all ride differently and from reading around the site it looks like anyone that thinks anything but what you do in "Nuts" or Crazy because you can run 1.5 in the 60 foot. Well Thank God that everyone is not you! You Muzzy Guys are all better off with more Options! and the Flies operate in Every gear and on the "Street" you are not spinning the engine over 9,000 in every gear to ride somewhere and that is where the "Power down Low" is Truely needed. Why do you think they can sell so many Hardley Ablesons?? (OH Oh, I guess I have now pissed off the Harley RIders)

Lonniemac,
Did you purchase a Hindle...or a Brock's Performance (by Hindle)?

Please do not confuse the two.

Acura is made by Honda ...but they are not directly associated.

If it is a Brock's Performance system- please contact me directly at brock@brockracing.com to talk about a REFUND if you are not pleased with our product.

Brock

Ps. Of course, we do not sell regular Hindle's so we would not be able to help you out if this is the case.....but Hindle might? I'll speak to them about this if you like.

Brock, the pipe came from competition in new york. no it wasnt your moded pipe. and of coarse i never mentioned you with that pipe. i knew i wasnt getting your pipe when i purchased it. i was aware of the difference from yours and the stepped hindle. and willing to give up that.
i know very well of your work and outstanding guy you are. I have friends that you helped tremendously on their busas. and i have some parts of yours on (in) my zx12 now and are very happy with them. Brock, i went back and read your post. from what i know about performance parts is that there are soo many variables that come to play its unreal. i understand that any thing could have been a factor. cam degreeing bore size u name it. this was a tweeked motor with 1270 cc boared throttle bodies debured head, cams (street grind) and a few other things. i know that changing any of these could prove a different outcome of the hindle. so i would not dare say hindle does not work it just didnt work for that setup. the reason i keep it was because i knew when i went to a larger motor and head work, the hindle might prove to be the opposite of the first try with it. so now i want to slamit and the sidewinder is the way im going. Your offer is OUTSTADING and i would not want to take advantage of you integrity when there is nothing wrong with the product. it just didnt work for me.

Lonniemac, the WORLD Needs more people like you! (I am not kidding). From what I have seen, the differences between the Step Hindle and the Brock Hindle is the Divider Plate which allows the Brock to produce more Torque and Midrange which are the Keys to the 60 foot times. For Land Speed Racing and Road Race the Peak numbers from 8,000 up are more important. Is this pupe for a 12 or 14?

Mr Hill.... I do not know what your motivation was to start this pile of crap.
Was it to piss off Rob ? or to boast Brock ? I tried to buy said pipe from your buddy Mr. Clean what an asswipe he turned out to be!!

So keep the pipe, thanks for the warning not to overfill my oil and have qualified tech work on my bike. (WoW big news)

Why not take your Tri Lingual self and go talk to someone who cares.

I will find out what happened and if there is a reasonable explanation I will PM you. If it was something not right on His part I will post it. Fair is Fair. If I can speak harshly of others then I can and should do it for my self! I will find out exactly. My last conversation with him was that he wanted to get the mapping to sell the pipe with and use until the pipe was sold. If that is wrong then you are owed an apology! Right is Right and everything else is not!
