quote: thanks to all but I have lowered the pressure to 5 psi and the damn thing still spins to hell. After about the 5 pass, the bike hooked and stood straight up at 7 inches. that was the only time the tire hooked. Oh yes i will be going to the u soft next time. lesson learned.
That sounds like track prep to me.
I've run several high, and a whole bunch of low low 1.5s
... all on the same 003, at about 15psi. The very first pass I made, it spun. Next pass I burned the shit out of it and it hooked ever since.
Oh yeah, 17/48 gearing on a 195rwhp 12R, 6 over.

2 is alot to go down in the front. The front sprocket is where your get your inital hit when you let your clutch out, your probaly shocking the tire too much when you let the clutch out. Being on the street doesnt help much either, mine just blows the tire off whenever it wants....

I know that is a lot to go down on. It seems as if the bike does not have enough legs anymore. I am shifting so fast in the 1/4 now until it's pitiful. Not liking this at all. especially as hard as I am used to launching. this bike is kicking out enough torque to blow you out of position sometimes and it's hell repositioning and getting the leg back to the shifter.

Time for a airshifter....I love mine and wouldnt ride without it. You say if feels like it runs out, but have you actually had it hook and make a clean pass? I went 1 down in the front and 3 up in the back and my bike 60's pretty good for 7 inchs out. It pulls my fat ass to 1.42 60's and would do better with more arm. I plan on dropping a few pounds for next year (30) and going more arm....hoping for 1.32-1.33 sixty's next year.
