My number one choice was the Micron Serpent pipe with a CF can.
If that is not acceptable, my number two choice was the Brock.

We meet every other Thursday nite at the Dumpster Bowling alley just off Jefferson. Everyone has to bring a plate of somethin' to eate. It's a friendly affair but fights have known to break out from time to time. Last week the pushin' started over Smokin's bean dip. Before you knew it the dip was gone and half the guys hadn't tasted it yet. The last straw was when ZX14_1965 stuck his finger in the dip and contaminated it. Oh boy... you should have been there. Bottles and chairs were flying everywhere. The police showed up as usual not befor everyone got in at least two games each. No one knows how to make a good salad so if ya come please brin' a salad or you can just get one from Burger King. Oh and bring the bike. Dues are only $25 a month but for $100 and a case of Bud yu can call yourself Presdent. We ride up and down Main street every Friday nite and the chicks just luv us. At the next meetin' we gonna vote on whether to wear jackets ya know like those other biker groups. Names considered so far are "The Bikr Club", "No Mads", "Grt Lovers", "The 14 Hogs". I like that last one. Cooool. As a new member we wood consider yor thoughts too. So be there Thurs nite or be square!!! Lookin' at ya!

Muzzy's quality has seriously went down the shitter. You get what ya pay for.
I recently bought a system for my FJR Yamaha, installed it and the header midpipe scraped
the ground on right hand turns.
They offered to repair it free so i sent it back and they did repair it,but the pipes are very
raw looking, they buffed out the scratch on the mid pipe and cut out the header section and rewelded it. Their welds look like shit!

Now heres the kicker.....one month later i recieve another complete new header and mid-pipe,thought should i keep it and sell it, no i will call them and tell them about the mistake
hoping they will give me a deal on some reed plates for being honest.
Dave calls me back says he'll give me a call number for the return,i asked how about a deal on some reed plates(cost $35)for being honest and not keeping the system, He says i can't give you a deal but i'll sell ya them for the regular price.

Screw em maybe i'll just keep the pipes after all i didn't buy directly from them, but from a dealer.

RANT over

Stu64- I am aware of your problems and thank you for bringing the clearance issue to our attention. I had authorized shipping to send you one of the new (modified) systems to replace your original one. Dave was not in that loop. Dave is not authorized to give discounts.
If you are not happy with the new pipe please call me direct.

I'm tired of this "You get what you pay for" BULLSHIT, that is simply NOT true in many cases. There is one saying that is true in the long run: "You must pay for what you get." There is no such thing as a free lunch, somebody has to pay for everything. You want the highest quality in materials, welding, finish and performance, you are gonna have to cough up some serious cash. All the others are trade offs, how much are you willing to pay for? That does NOT mean the expensive ones are better but the best will have to be expensive.

Stu, you wanted a special deal because you were being "honest"? This is so fucking typical, you want compensation for being a decent human being? Being honest should be it's own reward but I don't expect you to understand . . .

EDIT: Nice going Rob, I don't know if he deserves it or not but you are definitely showing that your customers are important to you.

I have ordered some "stuff" from Muzzy's in the past. And I have to say, that between Dave, and Rob, they are totally stand up people. I had some problems with a kit, that apparently nobody else had problems with. Rob sent over his mechanic(he lives where I live), and we still had problems. Long story short, Rob refunded all my money.

I think a lot of people just get totally wrapped around the axle about hp that a pipe makes. If pipe X makes 5 more hp, but cost $400 more, is it worth it?? I'm sure we could all stand to lose a few pounds, and thats free, and would yield the same gains. And really, none of you guys could honestly tell the difference in 5hp.
Brock/Hindle, and Muzzy, both make good pipes. One makes more hp up top, the other in the middle. 5hp difference here or there doesn't mean shit.
Both guys are totally stand up people. Buy the product that best fits your budget, and what you plan to do with it.

So what your saying is you sent me out another new pipe after repairing the first one?
If thats the case,Thank You,but you should let someone know in the future so when the customer calls someone has an idea of whats going on.

Stu64- What we have here is a communication failure. I understand you do not have the FJR anymore and don't need the new pipe we sent you. If you return it I would be happy to send you block off plates for your new bike at no charge, as a gesture of good faith.
