Has anyone ever come up with anything on this?
I have my sh set at -7.5 with stock sprockets,
and have the gear indicator problem in 3rd 4th and 5th.
I was under the impression I wouldn't have this problem
with this small of a correction factor. Obviously wrong.
I noticed if you pull the clutch in, the gear indicator will
read correctly after the rpm's fall. Also, it does change
while sitting still. It looks like we need to figure out how
to keep the ecu from looking at the rpm's, and just use
the gear inputs. Probably not possible.

I've noticed sometimes when I shift it takes 3-4 seconds for the indicator to change, and ya, it works great when you're sitting still. Once in a while though, when I'm taking it out of the garage, mine will say 2nd or 3rd gear when it's really in 1st.

I hate it. I can count gears, but I hate stuff that doesn't work.
Must be some way to get around it.
