Just some pics from Kansas City Misery

Me and the wife, she gets a neck spasm from trying to look around me. She wants her own bike. I'm thinking a V-rod would be about her type and speed.

And my 13 year old going for a cruise with me

took it to smitherscustoms.com in Olathe KS and he dropped it like they did in the zx-14 diary of course. The Best e.t has only been a dismal 9.82 @ 144.71 this is without strapping the front and this is 91 octane. It dyno'ed at 180.6. I have only ran it locally and yes the flies are out. I didn't actually notice any power difference on the top. The mph at KCIR didn't change at all. These guys that are knocking out 8's with there bikes, my hat is off to ya. It's just a toy for me to go and practice. I'd like to get my nhra license. . The plans are this spring to get an airshifter on it. Put the battleaxe tire back on it and if I have to, strap the front(don't want to do that). I'd like to get my times down and have it run good times just the same as it goes down the road. Not interested in running mr9 fuel. I drive it back and forth to work. I have a shink u/s and have not been happy with it but I haven't tried playing with the clutch adjustment yet.

Decent times, I've been 9.46 stock wheel base, I have the extensions going on this winter. With more practice you should get in the low 9's

Looks good Blue mule, 9.8's are good. seat time, air shifter and fuel will put you in the 50's
Hey I am going to KCIR this sunday to see how fast I can go.
You should come out this sunday and run your bike.
It'll give some one to chase down the track. I pray I can run 9.9's like it is.

Mine is just lowered, flies out, still stock wheel base and pipes.

I'll be on the Red one. Coming from St. Louis

Nah old pics, In fact if you stretch it and trey and leave the plate under the tail it will munch the plate, I did it a couple times and I ended up buying a mount that bolts to the rear axle nut.

I am going to be really excited to hear what you do at the KCIR. It's a crappy track and I have talked to guys who have been to both and they said you can knock off 2 tenths just going to Gateway. We had a bone stock one go to the track and run a 10.40. I've reached my limit going to the track this year. Outta time ,too many houses to paint ,and I have to work at the firestation sunday. But please post up. Smokinzx-14 let out a tip that I wanted to try, adjust the clutch lever away from the factory setting of 3 and adjust it to 1!. I'm really curious to try that one, instead of shimming the clutch. I had much better 60fts with the battleax tire, than I did the shinko u/s. Everyone says I need to learn to ride and that may be true but I'm wondering if the clutch isn't going away. An airshifter and a new set of clutches and we'll see where I'm at.

The guys at smithers at trying to steer me away from that, won't it detonate???? It's not worth loosing the motor trying to pick up 5 tenths???? The best mph it did here in kc was 144.71 on 92 octane. What kinda mph do you think it will pick up??

Mine has had 87 in from the day I put it together, runs fine. the head mechanic at the shop I'm at also says to run 87 for more power. I would run 87 and not worry about it.
