Don't be hatin!

really though... new breakthroughs in polymer technology are far superior than the teflon of slick 50 could ever have dreamed of ....

besides did you really think liquid pipe thread tape was gonna seal your rings to the cylinder walls or fill in scorred walls of a combustion zone??

I also approach these claims with plenty salt. The only way this is possible is if the thermal transfer coefficient is higher, much higher than that of oil, and then who say's it has the same lubricating properties/life etc. All those 'wonder' products such as prolong etc, personally, I wouldn't touch the stuff. The oil companies invest billions into oil tech, not thousand like these other guys

Ok, so I take back what I said above, I do want the two2cool stuff. Out here by me it's hot, damn hot. This will be the perfect way to keep my beer cold while working in the garage, kinda like cold fusion. Infact maybe I'll even paint my walls with it and get rid of my aircons aswell.

Prolong happens to be the real deal as well, plenty of top fuel and fuel funny car guys use it. I help a front enginge top fuel car and his bearings started going 3 times as long with Prolong. not sure if it would be good for a wet clutch.

Just pulling your chain dubious, it's great to view things with an open mind. I think the whole oil/friction modifier debate is as opionated as it gets. Interested to see what the oil fundies say, if memory serves there are a couple of them here...
