How much you weigh?...Is the tire hitting the undertail?...Is the bottom fairing scraping he ground?
The 14 shock is much better than the 12s shock...
The 14 is much better than the 12!!!

216 unsuited and the tire just rubs a little bit, no hole or anything. My 60fts just suck on this bike and I'm trying to figure out if it's me or the bike. My best is 1.64 once. otherwise I'm around 1.69 to 1.72. I jumped on a stock height Busa last weekend, no strap or anything and had a 1.72 my first time on a busa in three yrs. With one more run I could have went in the 1.60's I use to 1.58 my Busa all the time. If I could 1.58 my 14 I could be somewhere between 9.25 to 9.30

Don't get mad when i say this i am just trying to help.....It's you not the bike..Last time at the track i could not get a low 1.50 60 footer.....All night i was stuck with 1.60s.......I have been 1.52 60 many times but that night i just sucked ... It is all in my head because there is nothing wrong with my bike.......I see it everytime i go to the track guys telling be they can't go any faster and i say bull shit.....A friend of mine said to me one day he could go no faster and the cause was the clutchs ...I said nope it's you... I think he got a little pissed at me and on his next run he had his best ever 60 foot and ET ...The bike has the power but you have to use it!!! You have to say to yourself that you can do it over and over and you will do it... Power of the mind is everything....Use it....Smokin

I do feel it's me, but thought maybe the shock was not allowing me to leave well. And I don't get mad at advice. I can 60 ft a busa all day long that's what gets me mad.

One thing between the busa and the zx14 is the clutch ..The Busa hits pretty hard even with the clutch mod done to it ...The zx14 is really soft hit ...You may be able to make the zx14 clutch feel a bit more like the busa by setting the lever on number 4 or 5 setting ..That way it will hit a bit faster from the handle bar.....I sometimes i let it out to fast and bog the engine so i set the lever to 1 or 2 so the clutch will slip a bit more and get rid of the bog...I found that lever setting to be very helpfull when i'm having problem with my 60 foot times...Smokin..

Shoot smokin I tried that, I'm wondering if the clutch spacers would give me the feel I'm after.

Bently,
that's one of the biggest reasons I run the spacers. I could not get the bike to move hard enough in the first 10 feet AND the lever was so soft I couldn't get used to it.

After i shimmed mine i had to reset my clutch lever to where it felt better for me (3)...but lately i have been trying 4 and 5. This has helped my 60's but it wheelies and i have to pat it....which puts my et's back where they were. I might go more than 7 inchs over next year.

Set your shock so it compresses under launch, then SLOWLY rises as you procede down the track.

My lastnight is tomorrow. Supposed to be good weather...as long as we dont have a 15mph headwind like last week we should see some good et's. I'm going for broke tomorrow.
