Trust me, I understand your concern and observation as I too have wondered about the dyno since has been of topic about the dynos accuracy and all that. I plan to dyno on a dynojet dyno soon to compare.
AND your bike is getting it done PERIOD. 9.00 flat with a lighter rider aint no joke.

I thought for bikes they hook those to the countershaft sproket? rather thn rear wheel?
Friend has one of those for testing crank HP on snowmobiles, and sea doo's.

It was a regular dyno that had a roller on it.
