Yeah, I was dumb enuff to take a brand new bike and put 680 miles on it on a fuggin' dyno. NO, NO, NO. I bought the bike brand new, rode it around on the street to put 680 miles on it and then took it to the dyno with the mods that have been listed.

I too was wondering about the dyno machine too but the one thing that stays consitent is that the red 14 puts out 195 "EVERYTIME" it is dynoed within a HP difference here and there. We strapped mine down and the first pull was 199 HP, next was 202 and then 204 when the bike was at full operating temperature. Next the red 14 was strapped down and put out 194, then 195 and then another 195 HP.

For the guy that said SPAM, no it's not. At least I don't think it is. I am just posting what my bike did and was glad to post for other ZX-14 guys to see how well Brock's package works. I have nothing from ZX14.net on my bike that made it go to that HP level. They just gave me a deal to dyno against their site bike and I made more than them.

I am like most of you guys when it comes to dynos and all that shit. I went thru the same thing when my mustang put down 1177 RWHP and 1097 RWTQ. Ppl said...."happy dyno" yada, yada, yada but those same peeps saw me make several on/off the throttle passes and still go 156-162 MPH with less boost than I had at the dyno. The track don't lie when ET/MPH shows up. So next up for "MY" 14 is the track so we can see if indeed 200+ HP is there and then that will shut me and whoever thinks it's not making xyz HP up.

For the site moderators, if you think this is not appropriate, then delete it.

ZX14.net Pushs the pipe you have in fact that site is one big spam hole if you ask me ... If you don't agree with the owner of that site you get tossed real fast ...It's all about money in his pocket ...

Now back to you ...Let us all know how you do at the track because that will tell all for sure... If you run 156 157 thats great but i'm betting 150 to 151 if you are a good rider and don't weigh in at 250+ pounds 150 to 151 should be easy .....Good luck at the track and hope you post up soon ..Smokin...

Smokin,

Greg actually pushes that Tsukigi pipe kit and not the Brock's at all. Yes he sells the Brock's product because I guess Brock's gave him or gives him a dealer price and he can make a buck or two. There's a couple of threads where he doesn't like the finished weld quality of the Brock's(Hindle) pipes. Trust me, Greg doesn't pay me or give me nothing to post about my bike. I am soley posting because of what my unit did with Brock's parts. I don't think that Greg is the only one that sells Brock's parts is he. This site sells Brock's too so for someone looking for a great product, they can purchase thru here.

I am 205 #'s and hope that the bike can carry my azz down the 1320 and get us a good MPH to indicate whether or not the dyno isn't measuring properly. We will see and you guys will be one fo the first to know how it did.

P/S Brent i think Benlty weighs in about the same as you, he is running Smeg and brocks strip map and is posting speeds of 151 in the 1/4 mile ..That should be a good yard stick to compare your set up with ... Good luck ... Smokin ....

Brent, I'm 216 in shorts and have went 151.90 best and a bunch of other 150's. I feel I have to be pushing 200hp as well to run those kind of trap speeds so your 204hp really don't surprise me much. I've been 122 in the 1/8. Lets put it this way My busa dynoed at 178hp and only ran 144mph. And there was a busa at my track a couple weekends ago running a 40 shot and he only went 150.45 to my 151.90. with a 40 shot he had to be over 200hp, as he had a brock pipe and map. I aslo ran a 9.46 to his 9.50.

Man Bently that is good news to know. This bike is a great unit. Kawasaki did a pretty good job and I am going to try like crazy to get her down in the numbers soon.

Here's a few vids.

Of course someone had to come on the boards and ruin my 202.6 hp. I got to carry the crown made of horse shit for only 1 week dammit.

I suspect this is just a joke to amp us up but Brent, if you truely believe your bike is making that horsepower, you may need to be checked over by a licensed physician. Don't believe the hype brother, it's just a happy dyno. I know it feels good, as you can see, I have one of those numbers to throw around too. My bike made 172 on one dyno and 202.6 on another.

Things that make you go hmmm!

Like you said, good to go between two different dynos. I'd like to see how my bike would do on a sad dyno.

Brent, didn't mean to insult you but the links are all to The other site, and as you are aware many of us have issue with greg's tactics.

I just don't see a bike making 10 RWHP more than any other similar set up anywhere.
Brock is running non O ring chain, MR9, no A/F, ceramic wheel brgs, and 0 weight oil to acheive HP in the 190's.

What kind of Dyno are you using?
You stated amoco fuel correct?
Are you cams degree'd ?
Head ported?

What gear are you pullin the dyno runs in?

I have talked with Carpenter, and Orient express, and their poerted, camed motors with 13:1 pistons are making around 205-210 RWHP( $1500-$2000), and big bore stroked motors around 225-235 RWHP.( additional $2000- 3000).
So I really have a hard time seeing 205 from a stock engine.

Great #'s !
Really happy for ya, and really interested in more details.

Your're fine. I was just stating that I was posting up what Brock's stuff did not Tsukigi which is what ZX14.net pushes since it is a pretty good product.

My bike is completely stock, no ported head, no MR9, no non O ringed chain, no ceramic bearings.

That dyno I am not sure of what brand it is/was. Greg invited me to come out and test against his so I went there. That is the closest dyno around me that I know of and I've asked a few ppl where are dynos near my area. Yes I had plain ole regular Amoco 93 octane. Cams are in the stock position and I am not sure what gear they ran the runs in but I will ask.

Like we all know though, the dyno #'s don't mean nothing where the track is where it's at.

Thanks to all. These bikes are still great machines though.

BTW, you could make slightly more power running 87 or 89 octane. That 93 is not working in your favor as it burns at a slower rate.

It tickles me to hear that your bike put up better numbers than Gregs. So much for all his talk about the big exhaust pipe shootout and how he was gonna prove that what he recommended was best. Did he put the honest truth on his site?

As for him selling Brock's stuff. I heard a rumor that he was no longer a dealer.

I don't care what your bike dynos at as long as it was more than that particular red one!

LOL.

To be honest, he did seem surprised that mine did show more power. Right after the first pull showed 199, they reset the dyno, checked the settings and such but none of that mattered because the next pull was 202 HP. The black 14 made more even if the dyno is a happy one, mine showed more than his did on the same dyno, the same day within 30 minutes apart. You may have a point about being a Brock's dealer. He is going back to the dyno this coming week to dyno a Tsukigi sidewinder to see if that will make more power for his bike. He did post all of the dyno results up on his site for all to see but my pipe is almost being labeled as a DRAG pipe and his is a street pipe. I beg the differ because the Brock's pipe is a street pipe, o.k. maybe I'd have a tougher time in the twists and turns but I don't care about that. All I care about is a stratight line.

And now the Dep's sidekick shows up to keep an eye on what's being posted about the Brock pipe vs. Tsukigi dyno test.
