Muzzy C02 air shifter install ...

I got say right off the bat this Muzzy air shifter kit is one nice kit ... It's complete right down to the last bolt and washer ... Install was pretty easy , i did have a little problem with the wiring so i made a call to Muzzy and problem fixed ....One thing i wish was a better place to put the bottle but seeing that the zx14 has NO place to put even a Pack of smokes, hiding the bottle is not going to happen ....Muzzy mounts the bottle out side of the rear tail support and the mounting hardware is really nice and well built .... I'd love to hide the bottle but if i have to look at it I want it to look nice and it looks DAMN GOOD !! Problem is i will have to tell everyone it's NOT a N20 bottle and i'm sure they will think i'm lieing ... Oh well that life ...
I have not gotten the bottle filled yet but i did test the system by hitting the horn button, hitting the horn button killed the motor and the digakill boxs lights up.... I found something really cool when i went for a test ride ...Even without the c02 you can load the shifter with your foot and hit the horn button and it will power shift without the clutch !!! Cool !!!

The kit is pricey but once you see what you get for your Money you will be very happy ...Muzzy did his homework on this kit and it shows ......... Smokin...

Glad it worked out for you. Keep us posted when you get the bottle filled. I recommend NOS as its easier to find, and cleaner. I also had the same problem at the track. About wore me out telling people it was for the CO2 airshifter. Got a lot of "yea, right" nudge, nudge, wink, wink, for morons that didn't know shit about bikes anyways.

Have fun, let me know what your e/t's drop too.

Yep, you will have to use NOS. Nobody has a fitting to fill it with CO2.

Smokin'- A guy I ride with (of course he rides a 'busa) owns a dive shop near us in Tampa. Maybe you can allow him a try at it. If he can't fill it with something I'm sure he'll go the extra mile and try to make the bottle compatible for you etc. Here is his contact info:

I get mine filled at a local paintball shop. It's no problem. They use CO2 in their guns. Just an option.

Tried that and they said it's not for paint ball guns so they didn't want to fill it ....
