I don't ride after dark unless I have to......cuts down the chances a lot. I just always be sure to not stop in the center of the lane and always watch the mirrors.

I love night riding .
Especially night twisties, the whole road you know like the back of your hand by day becomes some wicked dominatrix by night

Night riding is safer to me, even on the twisties. Less cars, and on the twisties, you can see the cars headlights way ahead of time.

...and more deer and coyotes leaping outta nowhere, too  ...night riding up and down Palomar was fun back in the day....uh...I mean night
