Throttlemeister
I am thinking of a throttlemeister for the 14. Does anyone have experience of this on the 14 or any other bike? Thoughts would be appeciated.

quality product, but i don't liek the design. too hard to engage and disengage. i far prefer the idea of the type where you flick a lever with your thumb, tho i haven't used one yet. everyone who i've talked to has liked it tho.

I have the flat black model and it works great. It's also a MUCH simpler install on the ZX than it was on my XX. I installed it when the bike was new and now that things have settled in a bit I need to pull it off and take out one shim and it'll be back to normal. I haven't had any issues engaging it. As I get on the highway and roll up to speed, I slide my hand down a bit further and roll the TM on with it. I then adjust throttle as I see fit and I'm done. When it's time to slow down and disengage I slide my hand down to the barend and grip the TM and roll out as I roll the throttle out and it's off, just like that. Looks great and doesn't take up any space on already crowded bars either.

I have it on all of my bikes and had it on the Busa's that I've had prior. On some bikes, it eliminated vibrations in a huge way...on others, made no difference at all just because there was marginal, or no vibration to begin with. As a throttle lock, it works perfectly on all bikes and installs in minutes. Highly recommended for your 14...won't elminate vibration as there really isn't any to start with.

Thanks for your comments. I shall give it a try. Southern hemisphere summer is about to arrive (I hope) and some long riding days are in store.

I have a brushed/heavy installed right now, it works great, but I don't use it very often. It's for sale if anyone wants it. I originally bought it form my ZZ-R1200 and moved it to the '14 back in April. I paid $120 + $9.50 shipping, I'll sell it for $90 including shipping to anywhere in the US.
